Local energy supplier

Wörrstadt wind farm (Rhineland-Palatinate) is located in close vicinity to the JUWIs headquarters. 17 turbines coming from the leading manufacturer of wind energy plants, Enercon GmbH, as well as 5 Kenersys plants have a capacity of 55 megawatt. Together, they generate enough clean energy to supply 42,500 households. The wind farm was inaugurated in 2009 and has been expanded repeatedly.

Power Purchase Agreement: Green electricity for Deutsche Bahn
The three PV power plants in Bremelau, Heudorf, and Röckingen will supply green electricity over a period of four years under a power purchase agreement (PPA) between MVV and DB Energie.
