Dr. Hansjörg Roll, Chairman of the Shareholders' Meeting of JUWI, stated: "Carsten Bovenschen has been at the helm of JUWI since November 2021. Since then, he has significantly contributed to the company's development, particularly in the merger with Windwärts Energie GmbH to form the joint energy transition company JUWI GmbH under the umbrella of MVV Energie AG in 2022. The shareholder thanks Carsten Bovenschen for his outstanding commitment and his entrepreneurial achievements on behalf of JUWI GmbH. He has played a key role in advancing the expansion of renewable energies in Germany and internationally. We regret his decision and wish him, both professionally and personally, all the best for his future."

Carsten Bovenschen commented: "Today, we see a strengthened and consolidated JUWI. That is the result of the joint efforts made by our team in what is still a very challenging market climate. I sincerely thank the shareholder and everyone who has accompanied me on my journey at JUWI for their trust. I am convinced that we have laid the foundations for a successful future for JUWI GmbH."

The shareholder is confident that a replacement will be found by the beginning of the new financial year. Until then, Carsten Bovenschen's responsibilities will be assumed by JUWI’s two Managing Directors, Stephan Hansen and Christian Arnold, in close coordination with the shareholder.
