Stephan Hansen, COO juwi AG

The supervisory board of the juwi AG extended the working contract with board member Stephan Hansen (51) for another three years. Within the executive board of the Wörrstadt based project developer for renewable energy, Stephan Hansen is responsible for all business activities in the international regions of EMEA, APAC and Americas. He is also responsible for the supply chain, IT, occupational health security (OHS) and quality management.

Stephan Hansen has worked for juwi since the beginning of 2014. He was initially managing director of the juwi International GmbH, and he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the juwi board in August 2014. The mechanical engineer has been active in the renewable energy industry for more than 16 years and amongst other management activities, established the EMEA business for the US thin-film solar module manufacturer First Solar, and is therefore considered one of the sectors most experienced solar experts.

Dr. Georg Müller, head of the juwi supervisory board and CEO of MVV Energie AG says: „Stephan Hansen provides an essential contribution to the international success of the juwi group. We look forward to the future co-operation in the next years, which will be exciting and ambitious.”
Together with his board colleagues Dagmar Rehm and Michael Class, Stephan Hansen leads one of the top project developer and O&M service provider in the renewable energy industry that successfully and reliably builds, market, and operates renewable energy power plants. Stephan Hansen himself is happy about the confidence of the supervisory board: „This is a strong sign to continue advancing the internationalization of the company.”
