Carsten Bovenschen has been CEO and CFO of juwi AG since November 15, 2021. He has been active in the field of renewable energies and their storage for almost 15 years. Most recently, he was CFO at Akasol AG in Darmstadt, a manufacturer of high-performance battery systems. Prior to that, the 57-year-old business graduate held senior positions at various companies, including CFO at photovoltaic company Solarwatt.
Stephan Hansen has been COO since August 2014. The mechanical engineer was managing director and vice president of business development EMEA at First Solar GmbH from 2004 to 2012. Before coming to juwi, he was executive vice president of NANOSOLAR INC., San Jose, and responsible for sales. Between 1996 and 2004, he took over various executive positions within the Schott Group and was also COO for Schott's solar business in the US.
Christian Arnold assumed responsibility for the operating business in Germany in the juwi AG board of directors on November 15, 2021. 51-year-old Dipl. Ing. (FH) Christian Arnold has been with the juwi Group since 2017, having previously worked as OEM Field Service Leader at Switzerland's General Electric/ALSTOM AG. At juwi, he owns the "Renewable Energies Germany" business division and acts a the Managing Director of juwi Operations & Maintenance GmbH.
