We are looking for you as a Project Scheduler

Full-time Fixed term| Perth based | Solar PV EPC project | Mining Client

The Role

As a Project Scheduler, you are primarily involved in the scheduling and control support to the infrastructure delivery program. You will be supporting the project and ensuring the project schedule is developed and maintained and the project schedule requirements are communicated. 
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, your main responsibilities shall include:
  • Develops integrated project schedules, identifies critical activities, monitors the project plan/schedule and drives continuous improvement across projects 
  • Monitors and manages project performance to assist with delivery of projects in line with client requirements, budget and scope
  • Scheduling of labour resources, materials, plant and equipment as per the scope of works and contractual requirements, 
  • Perform critical path analysis and possess the ability to demonstrate delays and recommend mitigation measures for project delays. 
  • Liaising with project stakeholders to ensure accurate updating and reporting of schedules and activity forecasting. 
  • Updating and maintaining schedules on a day to day basis
  • Preparing weekly and monthly project reporting which may include lookaheads, critical paths and any reporting required by the project. 
  • Review, analysis and integration of subcontractor schedules
  • Preparing manning, cost and cashflow forecasts and schedules. 

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Scheduler/Planner within the construction, resources or renewables sector
  • Good working knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite 
  • Sound understanding of project management and project delivery practices 
  • Proven communication skills with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Engineering, Project Management or AACEi qualifications desirable.
