Project Licensing Officer (m/f/d)

full time - unlimited
 

Your Tasks

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identification and evaluation of land suitable for Renewable Energy projects.
  • Securing the land through lease agreements (in the case of private land) or other procedures in the case of public land and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Management and execution of all required actions with the competent authorities for the issuance of the necessary permits for Renewable Energy projects (production license, AEPO, installation license, operation license, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a network (developers, real estate agents, environmental auditors, public authorities) necessary for the processing of permits.
  • Regular reporting on the authorisation phases of projects.
  • Implement and comply with JUWI's procedures and standards.
  • Report to the Head of Project Development.

Your Profile

Qualifications and Experience
 
  • Degree in Surveying Engineering or Civil Engineering or other engineering degree in a relevant subject.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the permitting process of RES projects and very good knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Combined knowledge, organisational skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Decision making and problem solving.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project & Design Tools will be considered a plus.
  • Fluent in Greek and in English (verbal & writing).
  • Willing to travel frequently within Greece.
