Legal Counsel

Objectives
- Provide day-to-day legal support and advice to internal stakeholders such as Project Delivery, Procurement, Finance, HR and others.
- Review, draft and negotiate various contracts related to the company’s business, in particular EPC contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, supply agreements, service agreements, consultancy agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.
- Responsible for corporate and statutory governance of the organisation, including compliance with internal guidelines, data protection, etc
- Support other JUWI companies within the Asia-Pacific region on an ad-hoc basis
- Company Secretary: Ensure company returns and registers required under legislation are completed by the due dates and maintained according to best practice
- Act as the compliance/data protection representative for APAC
Your Profile
- Tertiary qualifications in Law
- At least 5 years of post-admission experience within a large commercial environment or law firm in similar capacity as Legal Counsel or higher
- Demonstrated commercial experience with a project or contracts-based environment or in the renewable industry is highly preferred.
- High level of communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to wok independently, multi-task and prioritise and organise work in an orderly manner and meeting deadlines.
