Objectives
As the EPC Project Quality Officer, you will be involved in all the EPC projects across the EMEA region working in a matrix organisation. Acting under the supervision of the Project Managers and supporting all stakeholders involved, you will be responsible for planning and performing the quality assurance and ensuring appropriate quality control within projects in compliance with the contractual obligations of projects and internal processes applicable in the organisation. In close relation with the Supplier Quality Management team, the technology experts, construction and commissioning teams, you will coordinate all the quality works on the project including pre-shipment inspections, factory acceptance tests, quality control during construction and commissioning.
You will be responsible to ensure the quality documentation and all records of the project will be stored in a structured and appropriate manner and communicated to all the relevant parties including the final handover to the client. You will be liaising closely with the local corporate quality department to ensure the quality system used in the project is aligned with the quality system in place within the company. You will be active in the harmonisation, development and continual improvement of our processes, procedures and tools. You will be responsible to facilitate the lessons learned process and ensure that actions decided are properly implemented.

Primary Responsibilities
- Create Quality Assurance Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and Quality Control Plans; aligned with contractual requirements of each project
- Create and manage the quality documentation storage space for projects
- Ensure all documentation (procedures, templates, check sheets) required for the quality management of projects are reviewed, approved and properly communicated to the internal team and external stakeholders
- Ensure that all quality records are fully reviewed, signed off by relevant parties and properly stored
- Facilitate creation and manage the lifecycle of non-conformance reports in projects
- Develop and implement audit schedules and plans including unannounced visits
- Elaborate and monitor Quality Key Performance Indicators in projects
- Identify and communicate lessons learned during the project lifecycle to ensure continual improvement during project execution
- Report regularly on quality of projects to the Project Manager in charge
- Support the Project Manager on all quality matters toward the client, the owner’s engineer and the Technical Advisor
Your Profile
Qualifications and Experience
Desirable Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Quality Management, ideally in the Renewable Energy Sector
- Conversant with ISO 9001 and related Quality standards and concepts
- Familiar with Electrical and Civil international standards (IEC, IEEE & ISO). Knowledge of national standards in the areas where JUWI is active (SANS, EU, etc…) would be an advantage
- Familiar with tools and techniques generally used in Continuous Improvement Programs
- Ability to demonstrate quality culture behaviours (rigorous, systematic, prudent approach, questioning attitude) and serve as an example for the organization
- Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel
- Ability to take ownership of work and perform under limited supervision
Desirable Attributes
- Excellent communication skills
- Good administrative and reporting skills
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- A second European language (German, Italian or Greek) will be considered as an advantage
- Willing to travel internationally
