Objectives

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Management, this position is offered on a full-time, fixed term 12 month contract basis.  The position will be based out of either our Perth or Brisbane office with flexible working from home arrangements offered. 

Objectives of the position include: 
  • Manage project contracts and ensure a timely response to notifications, variations and project needs.
  • Ensure contract scope is being delivered and aligns with legal obligations
  • Coordinate with the project manager to optimize project budget & costs
  • Support the final negotiation of contract terms and pricing with both internal and external contacts, and support the preparation of purchase orders, agreements and contracts related agreements; expediting; monitoring compliance and performance; enforcement of claims
  • Manage project contracts (supplier as well as client side) and ensure a timely response to notifications, variations and project needs in coordination with project manager and site team
  • Control cost and legal obligations by setting up and maintaining a project budget & warranties, and cost-reporting system covering all procured equipment and services aligned with project manager
  • Support project manager in handling and negotiating supplier/ subcontractor variations, change orders etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of procurement legislation and implement good practices
  • Manage and administer supply/ subcontract enquiries, quotations and ordering process including tracking order fulfilment for the project
  • Ensure the business adheres to legislation and good practice in all procurement activities.

Your Profile

  • 3 – 5 years EPC contract administration experience
  • Engineering / Commercial degree/ related qualification
  • Proficient in negotiating, drafting and administering standard form or proprietary contracts
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders within a matrix organization
  • Experience working in an international matrix organizational structure
  • Experience in EPC environment, preferably in Renewable Energy
  • Legal qualification/experience advantageous
