We are looking for you as a Construction Manager
Start ASAP | Solar PV EPC projects | Mining Client | Full-time fixed term

Since 1996, JUWI has developed, planned, financed, built and operated power plants and systems that use renewable energies – wind and solar.

The Australian subsidiary has been operating since 2015 is currently delivering multiple utility scale and hybrid renewable projects located both on-grid and off-grid. Driven by the increasing demand for utility scale solar and wind systems, JUWI is expanding its delivery capability in Australia. JUWI has offices in Perth and Brisbane.

The Role

Primary responsibilities include: 
  • Create and review construction schedule. Incorporate information from system design and engineering, external contractors, supply chain and project management. Critical path management
  • Daily construction plan and work orders planning for projects
  • Monitor and oversee civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligation
  • Ensure photovoltaic and wind projects are built according to plans created and submitted as well as to juwi standards
  • Cross functional co-ordination with – Engineering, Project management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and all support functions as needed 
  • Review all contractors QA plans & procedures and bring all plans into conformance with project requirements
  • Review plans and procedures periodically and institute changes if necessary
  • Foster and develop a project team effort and assist in resolving differences.
  • Review of projects on day to day basis on the progress milestones.
  • Be updated on liquidity planning and cost calculations
  • Identify, source and qualify subcontractors and suppliers for projects
  • Share and improve juwi Construction management best practice 

Your Profile

  • Significant previous experience with tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a trade qualification with relevant experience in construction management
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, safety management and team building
  • Experience in the renewables energy sector desirable
