About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful closure and execution of the project. They will be responsible for project management from inception to handover, including full responsibility for budget & timelines, cost, quality, contracts, engineering, integration, HSE, construction, commissioning and stakeholder management within a matrix organization part of the Asia Pacific region. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • accountable for the successful outcome of solar PV EPC(M) projects from financial close through commissioning, energisation and handover,
  • formal project management of EPC(M), Supplier and Sub-contracts including engineering, commercial and stakeholder aspects,
  • reporting to the Head of Operations APAC, the Project Manager will manage the project team (matrix structure) and work with Business Development, Construction Management, Engineering, Consultants, Customers and local authorities to ensure financial close and compliant project execution,
  • manage and report on progress – scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, HSE, contracts etc.,
  • implement, improve and maintain project management guidelines, processes, tools and procedures to ensure a structured project execution approach, minimize project risk and maximize performance,
  • responsible for achieving contractual milestones and management of liquidity, schedule, costs as per EPC(M) contracts and project baselines,
  • ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes and requirements in Australia,

Qualification & Experience

  • Tier 1 Mining experience essential.
  • An engineering, natural science, quantity surveying or environmental planning degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of successful project management track record in the Australian power, energy or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex proprietary or standard form contracts.
  • Strong negotiation, excellent communication skills and successful at relationship building across a broad range of levels.
  • Proven track record of managing and motivating project teams in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Team player with exceptional communication skills, a self-starter with strong problem solving and creativity aspects and a passion for renewable energies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure, with the ability to prioritize and organize own workload including flexibility in working hours as projects may require.
  • Renewable energy experience, in particular solar PV.

  • Experienced in grid connection requirements of TNSP's and managing AEMO's requirements.

About the role

Support the Construction Manager in the completion of the project scope, daily operations, management of subcontractors, schedule, supply chain and project management. Monitor and oversee all civil work on site to ensure contractual obligations are met.

  • Engineering / Civil degree – Engineering Degree not essential. The primary requirements of a civil supervisor is a depth of civil experience, to be able to drive production and coordinate the civil contractor – experience would ideally come from multiple civil roles/industries (civil and concrete).
  • 10 years experience in renewables energy - – 10 years renewables experience not essential. Some renewables experience essential, however the primary requirement is a depth of civil knowledge. Supervision experience of large concrete pour and roadworks would be an ideal candidate.
  • Background in execution of wind turbine foundations – Highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Team player with exceptional communication skills, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for renewable energies.

  • 3 – 5 years EPC contract administration experience.
  • Engineering / Commercial degree/ related qualification.
  • Proficient in negotiating, drafting and administering standard form or proprietary contracts.

  • Experience working in an international matrix organizational structure.

About the role

The juwi Hybrid Engineer will be involved in the development and delivery of renewable projects (solar, wind and BESS) and be responsible for designing and optimising engineering designs and solutions for Hybrid projects. For project delivery, the role will encompass meeting the head contract specification requirements and ensuring all the associated subcontracts support juwi in meeting these same specifications. This role will extend across other projects and project development activities as required both locally and internationally.   • Engineering / Civil degree – Engineering Degree not essential. About the role

As the O&M Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operations activities of a 204 MWp PV plant in Kozani area (including the High Voltage substation). You will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager and will work within the plant.

The duties of the O&M Site Manager will begin with the interconnection of the PV Station to the Grid. As a preparatory stage for the assumption of duties, the O&M Site Manager will be involved in the construction phase of the project, undertaking the preparation and execution of the Commissioning Plan of the Station, in collaboration with the company's Commissioning Manager. His / her role, at this stage, will be to record and monitor all the required procedures and to coordinate all stakeholders in order to successfully complete the Commissioning process on time.
 

Primary responsibilities

  • responsible for all maintenance and operation activities during operation phase, according to company’s procedures, the legal framework and principles of proper execution,
  • responsible for the implementation of corporate policies and procedures for Health & Safety at the Station,
  • management of the local O&M team of the company as well as supervising the subcontractors,
  • liaison with the local representative of the Station Owner and his Engineer,
  • liaison with IPTO, mainly regarding the operation of the MV / HV substation,

  • Holder (or beneficiary for immediate issuance) of the Certificate of Licensee Installer or Maintenance, for all categories and scales of electrical installations (from the respective Prefecture).
  • At least 8 years of previous service in the construction and / or maintenance of PV stations or other power generation units.
  • Work experience in MV / HV substations, including transformers, switchgear and relays.
  • Work experience is desirable i) in MV / HV substations (including operating experience) ii) in the construction, commissioning or operation and maintenance of PV Stations greater than 20 MW iii) in central inverters.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.

Due to further expansion, we are looking for a Project Finance Manager (m/f/d) to be based in Athens, Greece.  This position will lead the project level financial modelling and provide transactional support to the project teams in Greece (Business Development, Sales, EPC and O&M). The role will also act as the key subject matter expert from a project finance perspective and will report directly to the Managing Director.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Provide valuation and structuring guidance throughout the business development and sale process, advising on commercial agreements, risk allocation, bankability of contracts (including PPAs), financing alternatives, and expected investment returns.
  • Actively engage with prospective counterparties to clarify project valuation, risk allocation, assumptions and market perspectives.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data such as energy price curves, PPA assumptions, tax, financial inputs etc, using analytical tools and advanced models in order to create financial model assumption, predicting and qualifying risk and profitability.
  • Gather & handle financial modeling data with accuracy in order to help juwi team with investment decisions for project development and acquisition opportunities.
  • Define and support internal stakeholders in the energy sale strategy for each project (PPA vs merchant approach, auctions pricing definition.).
  • Develop creative financing strategies and examine the most competitive sources of funding.
  • Organize and conduct the process for financial partner/lender selection, including preparing teasers, IMs, and participating in the outreach.
  • Support juwi team in clarifying project valuation, risk allocation, assumptions and market perspectives.
  • Lead the negotiation of key financial terms of the transaction documents.
  • Manage multiple parties including banks, consultants, lawyers as well as internal stakeholders to bring transactions to successful close.
  • Support and engage with the Corporate Finance team in accounting, controlling and treasury matters, including participating to Annual Budget definition, reporting to shareholders, pipeline management.
  • Lead the financial modeling and analysis supporting investment decisions for project development and acquisition opportunities.
  • Cooperate with juwi’s Finance Managers in the EMEA region, to maintain financial model assumptions, while retaining responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of relevant inputs to such models (energy price curves, PPA assumptions, tax, financial inputs etc) for Greece.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering. Masters, MBA, CFA, CPA, and/or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
  • 5 years of demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed financial models, including a project finance and accounting component.
  • Knowledge of the merchant power markets drivers and hedging instruments.
  • Knowledge of Tax Equity structures and IRS requirements is an asset.
