Between April 2007 and December 2008 juwi has realized Waldpolenz-located near Leipzig. It is one of the biggest PV plants of the world with 40 MW, situated on a former military airport in Saxony with 220 hectares. In July, 2009 the project was awarded by the German CleanTech Institute (Bonn) with the CleanTech Award.
