Geothermal Energy from Your Region
Considering climate change and the finiteness of fossil and atomic energy sources renewable energy sources are getting more and more important. Besides wind, the sun and biomass the warm energy stored in the earth's crust belongs to it. With this geothermal energy we can cover a large part of our energy needs in the future.
Energy underneath Your Feet
With geothermal energy we can produce energy and heat decentralised, at a reasonable price. On the one hand, the energy is used for heating or cooling, on the other hand it is used in power stations for the production of energy. A sufficient conveyor volume is necessary as well as a high temperature of the geothermal water. We can find out whether these conditions are fulfilled.
Seismic Analyses
To analyse the geologic state of the subsoil, we use so-called vibration vehicles. These vehicles send sound waves – seismic waves – into the subsoil where they are reflected by rock strata. These waves are perceptible only near the vehicles. Sensors for ground oscillations (Geophone) tape the reflexions and so provide a picture of the subsoil.
