E-Mobility: On the Road with Clean Energy

Renewable energy has become inalienable for a clean, inexpensive and secure power supply of private households, municipalities and businesses.

In the future, wind, solar and bio energy will play a central role in the transport sector. Currently, the worldwide individual traffic still depends on the supply of limited raw materials. However, the rise in prices and the effects on climate and the environment will lead to major changes in this area.

Electric drive engineering and energy from green sources – wind, solar and bio energy will be in focus and become inalienable.

E-Mobility Pioneer

Dr. Ronald Große, head of the department 'solar mobility' has been using an Mitsubishi i-MiEV as a company car since October 2010. Five further juwi employees are using an I-MiEV since the mid of January. In the near future juwi is going to transfer its entire company fleet to e-cars. These will be powered by clean energy produced at company headquartes.

Clean Energy & Mobility Center

The Clean Energy & Mobility Center offers you the possibility to experience the technologies of electro mobility – live and very closely. On 250 square metres we present

e-vehicles – scooters or the sports car Tesla. We also show components for a solar infrastructure like loading columns and carports. We explain how e-mobility can be integrated into a decentralised, renewable energy supply.

  • juwi develops solar carports for a roofing of car parks, for example supermarkets, hotels, sporting venues, businesses and municipalities.
  • We lead a syndicate of five businesses and institutes for the development of solar carports.
  • juwi collects experiences and optimisation possibilities for the use of electro vehicles in everyday life of commuters.
  • juwi also integrated electro mobiles into the vehicle park and in the long run will replace all vehicles with e-cars.
