Research & Development

The potential of renewable energies is not exhausted yet – we currently use only a fraction of what can be used.

Our research and development department takes part in the technical advancement of products. Moreover, we open new business segments like hydro and geothermal power and are involved in innovative business concepts such as Advanced Tower Systems (www.ats.eu). We develop economic electro mobility concepts, reliable memory technologies and traffic models. In our Clean Energy & Mobility Centre in Wörrstadt the results of this research can be seen in numerous vehicles and carports.

Solar Mobility

A focus of our research and developing department is the elaboration of new mobility concepts. We build up a diversified network for e-mobility. We talk with different manufacturers of electro vehicles, discuss with colleagues and businesses and work together with other developing departments. As a forerunner in Germany and Europe we test the first standard models of electro scooters and sports cars. juwi currently changes its vehicle park completely to e-vehicles and supplies the vehicles directly with green energy from solar carports.
