juwi involves all necessary parties to successfully complete its renewable energy projects.
We present projects that are harmoniously integrated into their environment. juwi has the necessary engineering expertise, years of experience in project management and business as well as organizational competencies. And even more importantly: from the very start, we work together with all parties involved to develop a strategy for integrating a wide variety of different interests, for the benefit of everyone.
We cover the complete process chain: site selection, planning, financing, and operational management. Since 1996, we consult consumers and project partners to increase the amount of sun, wind and bio energy in the energy market. We have established reliable cooperations with banks and long-term business relations with manufacturers.
Consulting
The consulting process prior to a project identifies which form of energy and if necessary, which energy mix is best for our respective partners. We determine the ideal output volume of the system and the conditions required for cost-efficient operation, such as joint ventures with power providers and the required modes of purchase. Which locations are suited? Which different interests have to be taken into account during project planning? We make sure that all these questions are clarified before we continue with project development.
Planning
The first step in the concrete planning of a project deals with the design of required technical and infrastructural conditions. Land has to be secured according to the applicable property laws through purchasing or lease contracts. In addition, we handle application and assesment procedures as well as any concerns regarding environmental protection. The plant has to be designed in such a way as to eliminate or at least minimise inconveniences or disruptions for residents.
Development
In order to develop a feasible project, we integrate numerous parties and their different interests. Local residents, associations, organizations and regional businesses all have
legitimate concerns that must be observed. In addition, we look for partners in the
areas of purchasing, operation and finance and look to incorporate local and regional
companies. In addition, juwi clarifies all technical details regarding grid connection
and grid management.
Financing
For each project, our experts develop a specially tailored financing concept, select banks and lead managers, establish credits and, if necessary, help to integrate power providers as additional financing bodies. The search for investors and the development of a stable business model for project operation are all part of juwi’s thorough financing strategy.
Construction
From providing the infrastrcuture to commissioning the plant: Installing a wind farm or a solar plant requires precise coordination between many different trades and suppliers. This includes the evaluation of the existing building structure and/or the condition of the open space to be used. juwi gathers all experts needed for construction (architects, structural engineers, logisticians and technicians of all types) under one roof. This, together with our years of experience allows for prompt and quick construction of the plants.
Management
juwi monitors and optimises the operation and efficiency of the plants over a period
of more than 20 years. Regular inspection, continuous remote monitoring and close
cooperation with manufacturers guarantees high technical availability of the plants. Upon request, juwi is also able to offer the entire commercial and operational management of the project. This includes tax and insurance issues as well as comprehensive reporting to invenstors.
